Scope of these terms
These terms apply to consumer customers. Travel agencies, agents and other business customers are subject to separately agreed contract terms.
When a booking is made
A booking is confirmed once it has been paid. With card payment the booking is confirmed immediately after payment. When paying by invoice, the booking is confirmed on the day the invoice is sent, and the same booking and cancellation terms apply as for card payment. Some services are booked through an availability request, in which case we agree the time and payment with you separately. The person booking must be of legal age.
Prices and payment
- All prices include Finnish VAT: accommodation 13.5 %, experiences and programme services 25.5 %.
- Payment is made by card online (Stripe) or by invoice. Online bookings cannot be paid on site.
- A booking left unpaid after the invoice due date may be cancelled after a reminder.
Cancellation — stays, retreats and experiences
- Cancelled 30 days or more before arrival or the event: full refund.
- Cancelled 14–29 days before: 50 % refunded.
- Cancelled less than 14 days before, or no-show: no refund. A retreat place may be transferred to another person by letting us know.
Cancellation — coaching and art-therapeutic sessions
- You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the session. A cancelled session is refunded in full.
- Sessions cancelled less than 48 hours before, or missed, are charged in full.
If we have to cancel
If we have to cancel — for example due to weather, illness or another force majeure event — we will offer an alternative date or refund your payment in full. We are not liable for your travel costs or other indirect expenses.
Right of withdrawal in distance selling
Under Finnish consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, catering or leisure services agreed for a specific date. The cancellation terms above therefore apply to bookings.
Gift cards
- A gift card is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
- A gift card can be used in parts — the remaining balance stays valid until the expiry date.
- A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash and is not refundable.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00 unless otherwise agreed. Finnish accommodation law requires us to record guest details and see an identity document on arrival.
You can complete the check-in form in advance on the My bookings page (names, date of birth, nationality, identity document, arrival time and any health limitations or wishes). Otherwise the form is filled in on paper when you arrive.
Responsibility and conduct
Guests are liable for any damage they cause. Smoking indoors is not permitted. Activities take place in nature and participants are responsible for their own health — please tell us in advance about any health limitations. We recommend travel insurance.
Disputes
Please contact us first — most matters are resolved in conversation. If no resolution is found, a consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi). Finnish law applies.
